Adult Patients

The American Dental Association predicts about 1/3 of the population nationally will delay or avoid dental care this year due to a fear of the dentist.   Dental phobia is a real issue many adult face today, severely limiting their willingness or ability to seek dental care. Root canal therapy, periodontal procedures, implant placement and extractions are simply a few of the most common dental procedures many adults, of all ages, find frightening. Although these procedures are commonplace and often routine for the doctor performing them, it is not always a relaxing experience for the patient.

IV sedation allows an alternative to the anxiety, stress and fear sometimes associated with these surgical procedures. Dr. Crawford has treated a wide range of patients for all types of dental procedures and is available to provide a relaxing and anxiety free dental procedure.
