Dr. Joseph Browning
Dr. Joseph Browning was born and raised in Peckville, PA just north of Scranton (Yes, from The Office). He attended the University of Scranton where he graduated Suma cum laude with a BS in Biology. Dr. Browning then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon and earned his DMD in 2019.
Following the completion of dental school, he completed a one-year General Practice Residency through Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA. During his time there, he was trained and performed procedures across all aspects of general dentistry including providing dental treatment for special needs adults in the operating room under general anesthesia.
After completing his GPR, Dr. Browning gained acceptance into his three-year Dental Anesthesiology Residency at the University of Pittsburgh/UPMC. During his training, he completed rotations across six UPMC hospital sites as well as the University of Pittsburgh Dental School. Training included time rotating with internal, critical care, and pediatric emergency medicine teams. The bulk of his time was spent administering sedation and general anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures to patients with varying medical histories and across all age ranges from infants to geriatrics.
Upon moving to Wisconsin, Dr. Browning is excited about joining Wisconsin Ambulatory Anesthesia and hoping to embody their mission of "Safety, Efficiency, and Increased Productivity."
Dr. Browning is a Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
When he isn't working, Dr. Browning enjoys hunting and snowmobiling as well as traveling to different beaches, exploring new towns and restaurants, along with attending sporting events with his girlfriend. He also tries to indulge his love of history and marine biology as much as possible.
Dr. Browning is BLS, ACLS, PALS, and board certified.
